| Weaver House - Crystal Springs, Arkansas |
|
The site for this design is in the rolling hills of Arkansas just outside the Ouachita Mountain National Forest. The two-fronted house shares a direct lineage with the Zachary House in its reinterpretation of rural precedents, material palette, construction techniques and spatial characteristics. In this case four doors allow spatial continuity through the house and serve to moderate between interior and exterior. A shed roof unifies the composition and elaborates on similar structures found nearby.
